New Zealand Rugby Tour 2017

At the end of term in June 45 boys from Year 11 & 12 and 6 staff departed from Dublin for New ZealandThumb Squad at Departure Dublin

on a three-week rugby tour. The tour coincided with the final week of the Lions tour and meant that NZ was in a bit of a rugby frenzy at the time.  We were transported around NZ by Kyle and his bus from Kiwi Experience which gave us plenty of opportunity to take in the fabulous scenery.

 

A cricket season to remember!

This was an outstanding Year for the Cricket Club at RBAI.Thumbs McCullough Cup League Winners 2017

Remarkably we won 5 out of the 7 schools’ cup competitions we entered.

The 1st XI won the Schools’ Cup for a record 10th time in the 32 year history of the competition.

Cricket: RBAI Win the Schools’ Cup!

RBAI 1st XI with the Schools Cup thumbMany congratulations to the 1st XI cricket team on winning the Ulster Bank Schools' Cup for the 10th time in the 32 year history of the competition. The victory will go down as one of the quickest and most emphatic ever in the history of the Schools' Cup. The 1st XI dismissed Wallace for 43 and needed only 51 balls to reach this total, with the loss of only 1 wicket.
